Los Angeles designer Charles Pollock created this eclectic line of reproductions from character antiques of the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. By exaggerating details and modifying proportions, he created “reproductions” and not mere “imitations of the originals.” He was a master of antique hand finishing: Chinoiserie, Distressing, Faux Finishing, and Hand-gilding to enhance the unique beauty of each piece.
